For 2021, Central Division is joining forces with Somerton Division to provide the theory part of our Beekeeping for Beginners’ Course. The course will be broadcast to registered participants via Zoom, and will be fully interactive, so that you can ask questions at any point.
The course dates for the theory part are Wednesday evenings 2021:
The total cost for all six sessions will be £30, which you pay to Somerton Division direct. The fee includes the Haynes Bee Manual and Associate membership of any Division of your choice.
If you choose to return to Central Division for the practical part of the course, there will be a further payment of just £10. This will entitle you to attend our practical beginner sessions (see details below), plus attendance at any of our regular apiary sessions throughout the 2021 beekeeping season. Practical sessions will start once the weather is warm enough to open hives, and as long as it is deemed advisable. Dates and format of Central practical sessions will be announced nearer the time.
Interested? Please contact Stewart Gould at somertonbees@btinternet.com who will advise you of the way forward.
