Welcome to the Frome BeekeeperS' Association
Welcome to the Frome Beekeepers' Association, located in the east of Somerset. Frome Beekeepers have a number of social occasions through the year. All Members, their friends and Associates are welcome to attend these events. We run a beginners course starting in February as well as training for the BBKA exams. We are a friendly bunch and welcome new members. We have a core of very experienced beekeepers who are happy to help and give advice to new beekeepers and members of the public. You will see us at various events like the Cheese Show and the Frome Festival.
Practical beekeeping and ongoing training is undertaken by smaller geographically based groups of about 10 members. Each group has at least one experienced beekeeper and a manager who arranges meetings at various apiaries. Each group manages its own programme and there is some crossover between the groups.
