Joining Somerset Beekeepers' Association is Simple!
If you live outside Somerset
- County Associate Member - If you are a member of another association or are from overseas and would like to support Somerset BKA, then you can become a County Associate Member for an annual fee of only £8.00 (which will provide membership until the end of the calendar year)! It will give you access to lecture recordings as well as to our events and newsletter. Click the button below to join as a County Member.
If you live in Somerset
There are two types of membership:
- Full Membership - This gives you full membership of the SBKA, as well as membership of the British Beekeepers' Association (BBKA), and includes insurance for you and any colonies of bees you own. There are 12 Divisions and you can join the Division that is closest or most convenient to you. There are no Divisional boundaries as such, and anyone can join through any Division. - Associate Membership - This is for friends and family, as well as beekeepers who are full members of another Division (even a Division in another county). You can join multiple Divisions, for example joining one Division as a full member, and another Division as an associate member. Read more about the Benefits of Membership.
