SBKA is a Registered CIO Charity and consists of its Members and a Board of Trustees who are elected by the membership. The Trustees represent all members in all 12 Branches of the organisation and are the decision makers of the SBKA Charity. Trustees are responsible and answerable to the Charity Commission for the good governance of the charity.
The Board of Trustees meet four to six times a year.
The Trustees appoint the SBKA Officers and such other Branches or project based committees that they consider necessary to enable the SBKA Charity to further its purpose and to be of public benefit.
