Research
We are grateful to the individual members and Branches who support honeybee research projects.
Jessica Kevill, the PhD student who worked on the ReVive project supported by BDI and a group of its member associations, has recently published her final paper.
This project looked at the evolution of the A, B & C strains of deformed wing virus and its interaction with Varroa.
The paper has been published in an open access journal and can be found here

Currently the Salford research team is working on a follow-up project looking at ways in which this information could be used to manage colonies with Varroa in a non chemical routine.
